Refund and Exchange Policy
Planting Stories endeavors to ensure that every transaction at our website is seamless. We take great care in delivering the products and can assure you that our sellers adhere to the highest quality standards. We also value our customers and their requirements, and we put our best efforts to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
As lovely as our products maybe, we understand that sometimes they do not fit in the customer ' s home as expected. In such cases, we will be offering returns within 7 days of receipt for which the customer can contact us and if the return request is accepted by Planting stories, the customer will self-ship the package back to the seller along with the original packaging. Once the return is confirmed, the amount paid by the customer, will be refunded by Planting Stories as store credit/voucher which they will be able to redeem in their next purchase.
Please note that, not all products are eligible for returns. In order to maintain fairness to our artisans and craftsmen, as well as to keep our prices fair, many items are "Final Sale." Including-
- Ceramics, food serving products, and other products which are fragile are not eligible for returns.
- Handmade and products made of natural materials are not eligible for returns. Customized orders are not eligible for return.
- Small bubbles on ceramic are not considered a defect if they are not visible on the upper surface.
- Seeds and soil/potting mix are not eligible for returns.
- Items bought on sale are not eligible for returns.
- Once a piece is exchanged, it cannot be exchanged again.
- Up to 5% variance from the stated dimensions is not considered a defect.
Defective item or wrong delivery
If you received a product which was wrongfully delivered or the product doesn’t match the item in the order confirmation or has a genuine quality / manufacturing defect then we are open to extending full refund or re-fulfilling your order or any other appropriate resolution from our side.
In such cases, please contact us with all the details and once the return or refund is confirmed, the product should be return in original packing without any damage or any kind of tampering, should be well packed to avoid ant damage in transit.
To return or exchange a defective or wrongfully delivered product or report a damage in transit, please get in touch with our Customer Care within 24 hours of delivery by email at email@example.com with your order number, date of transaction, delivery address and image of the wrongfully delivered or defective item.
Our customer care team will look into the issue and revert back within 48 working hours.
Exchanges & Refund Policy
Given the nature of our products, we reserve the sole discretion to provide the resolution to any situation as we deem fit. Each refund and exchange request is handled on a case by case basis and we request you to get in touch with our team for prompt resolution. Please also note that our products are all hand made and there could be slight variations from one product to another, which are part of the inherent nature of the product making process, and these will not be considered as defects.
No refunds would be given if the customer has provided wrong or incomplete shipping address, and / or there are 2 failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency and/or the package is refused by the recipient.
Refunds will be made within 7-8 business days. If paid by credit card, refunds will be issued to the original credit card provided at the time of purchase and in case of payment gateway name payments refund will be made to the same account.
