My brand's journey began during my final year in college. I'm a postgraduate in Botany, and I developed a particular interest towards succulents and terrariums. As a hobby, I made terrariums for friends/ family and teachers. Two years later, I decided to take this passion forward and started Prakṛti Garden Boutique in 2018.

At DITI, we source leftover fabric from local boutiques, designers, and tailors. We get our fabric from Indian craftsmen; Block printers, and weavers for our art home décor pieces. Every little snippet of fabric that is left behind during production gets used in our accessories and is not gone in the landfill.

Our products are packed in fabric bags created using discarded fabric and paper bags.

BahCane is a blend word of “Bah”, an Assamese word for bamboo, and “Cane”. The first of its kind in India, our products are made of eco-friendly, sustainable, and long-lasting material- laminated and polished bamboo and rattan, hence, keeping your environment-friendly interests in mind, while giving your space a delicate and sophisticated touch.

After working for more than a decade in the media and entertainment industry in India and overseas, Raahul, an MBA graduate, decided to leave the city chaos and come back to the mighty land of the Himalayas, where his heart always belonged. He started exploring & learning traditional & sustainable agriculture practices with the help of local & government agricultural organizations.

We up-skill women from these communities to become fine macramé artisans and subsequently enable them towards becoming independent producer groups. We currently engage with 20-30 women across 3 villages in The Nilgiris. We aspire to impact 5000 women in the coming years.

Chinhhari arts work with artists of Chhattisgarh and showcase the tribal and handmade art form to the world. The product range includes wrought iron (pitwa kala), wooden, bamboo and bell metal (dhokra) handicrafts.

The fascination of clay, understanding the material- what makes it malleable and magical, and finally, building an intimate familiarity between maker and material - that's the idea behind everything we do here at Button Curry.
